A trip to Africa tops many people’s bucket lists, and with good reason. The vibrant culture, warm people, untamed landscape, and incredible animals make this destination a can not miss experience. My obsession with Africa began in middle school and I have dreamed about it ever since. So when I began seriously exploring the world a few years ago, I knew that for our five-year wedding anniversary, my husband and I had to go. Africa is not an easy (or inexpensive) place to get to and it requires a lot of planning. If you have never visited this amazing continent, here are a few secrets I learned from my first trip to Africa and my first Africa safari.
